Intellectual Property is any product of human intelligence that has market value. Intellectual property includes ideas, inventions, literary works, computer processes, or product names and logos. Intellectual property can be protected by the law with copyrights, trademarks, patents, and more.
A series of international networks that can be accessed for information and resources from anywhere in the world.
Internet Service Provider
Also called ISP, an internet service provider is a company that provides access to the internet for a fee. Some of these companies are NetZero, AOL, and Earthlink.
A kind of advertisement that loads in another browsing window and appears when a user is waiting for a web page to load. These are sometimes called pop-ups.
IP Address - Internet Protocol Address
Basically, the IP Address is the ID number for web pages. IP addresses are quite hard to remember (ex: 22.214.171.124), so
users change them into domain names.
IP Delivery is synonymous with cloaking. IP Delivery is sending different messages depending on the IP address of the user. This would be used to get a high rank in a search engine without really giving what users are searching for.
An Internet Protocol Number is used like an ID number for computers that are connected to the internet. It is similar to an IP Address. An example of an IP Number would be 126.96.36.199
